One-of-one custom commissions — every piece built once, for one person, never repeated. Fill out the form on our Commissions page and we'll reach out to walk you through what to expect and work out the details.

It depends on the finish, and we'll tell you which one your piece has when it ships.
Clear-coated pieces kept outside — re-apply a very thin coat once a year or so. That's the whole maintenance routine.
Anything kept indoors — a light dusting is all it needs.
If you spot rust on an outdoor piece — don't panic, it's steel doing what steel does. Take a plain steel wool pad or fine-grit sandpaper and lightly rub the rust away. Wipe the dust off, and once the surface is clean and dry, put a thin coat of clear back over the bare spot so it doesn't come straight back.
Not sure what your piece has on it, or want a hand with a spot that's gotten away from you? Email support@ironwolfmetalworks.com — send a photo and we'll tell you exactly what to do.

We're a true small shop. The same person who welded your piece is the same person who packed it into the box — there's no line between the shop floor and the shipping desk, because they're the same room and the same set of hands.
We work by a simple rule: if we wouldn't display it in our own home, we won't sell it. That's not a slogan, it's the actual test a piece has to pass before it leaves. And it's why we'll turn down a commission we don't think we'd do well — we'd rather point you to someone better suited than hand you something we're not proud of.
Small shop means our reputation is attached to every single piece. There's no volume to hide a bad one behind. Every commission carries our name out into the world, and we build like it.
